RM Capital Partners (“RMCP”) is founded by experts with a combined experience of more than 25 years in investment. The General Partners have extensive business network, track record in private equity, banking, capital markets, financial structuring and performance turnaround experience. The team is a spin-out of the successful Ethos Capital private equity fund manager, with its core team forming RMCP.

RMCP’s first fund, RMCP One Fund with a fund amount of RM109 million is anchored by a government-linked fund management company, Ekuinas. It is sector agnostic with special emphasis on oil and gas, manufacturing, personal care and consumer.

The second fund, RMCP Two Fund closed with a fund amount of US$30 million from institutional investors. The fund’s investment focus is in Malaysian companies with business footprint across the region.

RMCP’s investment strategy is to actively invest through strategic participation and value creation. RMCP will work alongside the management team of investee companies to focus on enhancing the strategic direction and apply governance, financial and operational re-engineering work to drive performance transformation. RMCP aims to invest in businesses that we believe to have intrinsic opportunities embedded within which can be unlocked through its value creation strategies.

RMCP will not solely rely on the adoption of new technologies by industry players or positive changes in macro-economic conditions or sector specific economic conditions or social factors, but instead focus on opportunities where capital structuring and operational transformation will yield the best returns.
